RE: Floor Jack or bottle jack for flat tire?

Bottle Jack works the best for us.

RE: Slide-Out awning

I would replace it.
We have been in situations where the slide out awning saved many hours of work getting ice off of the slide out.
Opinions will vary, but to us, I would not have a slide out without them.

RE: Ooma Phone

I will stick to my Vonage thanks. Good service and my price including all the junk MN and US fees cost 31.00 a month.

RE: furnace;carbon monoxide

It was probably burning off coatings since this was your first time use. I would open the windows, and turn it back on for a while. Then shut it down and let the unit air out. Unless you have a real problem, that should take care of it.

RE: Firefox Closes

Must be something in your set up, mine works flawlessly. Maybe a deep scan for your computer?

RE: anyone install a hitch on their trailer?

Check with the manufacture of the trailer. My Jayco specifically prohibits a hitch and will void the warranty on the frame if I attach one.

RE: Dell Notebook question

If you can read your old drive, get a couple of thum drives and move the data to them, or get a portable usb hard drive and back up your current drive to it.
By the way, I have had Dell portables for the last 10 years and never had a glitch with them. If it breaks again, I would call Dell and ask them for a new one.

RE: Vent cap broke and blew off

How was original fastened on at the hinge? Pop rivets or screws?
If it was me, I would look at that. Shouldn't be to hard to replace it.

Our Jayco manual specifically says do not use any lubricants. Ours is the same year as yours. We have never had any issues with the slide out.

RE: Trouble Accessing Safe Sites

Depends on which browser you are using Ie: Firefox, IE etc. The one you are using might not have that link on the safe list. I never go thru links from my email. If its one of my sites, I have the real site bookmarked. Your browser might think they are phishing emails.

RE: Ripped Off??????

I would suggest next time, just take it to Checker, Autozone Etc, they all have code readers and do it for free.
That price is not out of line for a shop, up here its 90 just to smile at it.
